Join North Shore Jr. NCSY (Grades 5-8th) this Shabbat, December 5-6th, for an inspiring Mini-Shabbaton right at our Chapter headquarters here in Northbrook!

We will be hosting several friends from nearby Chapters in Chicagoland and South Bend, IN – feel free to invite someone as well!

Our “Mini-Shabbaton” is a great way to have a fun Shabbat in an intimate and relaxed setting. The program is divided into three easy parts and will take place at DNG (2095 Landwehr Road) and the Polstein Home (3228 Prestwick Lane). There will be supervision at all times.

1) Friday Night Kabbalat Shabbat (DNG 4:15) followed by Shabbat Dinner, Oneg, and Improv (Polstein’s 5:30) There will be walking groups to escort everyone home safely.

2) Shabbat Day Alternative Davening groups (optional) followed by Shabbat Lunch (Polsteins 12:30) and games – including the ever popular wide-range trivia game “Torah Bowl” – leading into a spirited session of song and stories “As Shabbos Ebbs Away” (DNG 3:00)

3) Super Fun Saturday Night (DNG 7:00pm) Short bus ride to Sky High and then a pizza party and raffle followed by pickup. (DNG 10:00pm)

Students in 5-8th grade can join us for the entire Shabbaton – or just the Super Fun Saturday Night event.
