What an awesome, inspiring day we have had! Our day started bright and early with an on-the-go breakfast. We took a bus to Venice Beach. We had a choice of renting a bike, roller skates or a skateboard. Even though the bus ride was long, it was worth it for the beautiful views and fresh air.
We then took a bus ride to a Jewish day school to have lunch and listen to an inspirational speaker, David Weiss, a famous screenwriter. He shared his experiences with religion and how he found his way back to Judaism.
It was a fun, adventurous day and the perfect way to get excited for Shabbat!
