Sabrina Danelich has been named Minneapolis NCSY/JSU’s Associate Director.
Sabrina, 26, has been sharing the joy and wisdom of Judaism with others since she was a teenager.
A native of Toronto, Canada, Sabrina led Shabbat youth groups during her high school years. She also worked as an assistant teacher in local Hebrew schools before and after graduation.
Sabrina earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from York University and then worked in Admissions and Marketing for a nursing home.
About three years ago, Sabrina returned to her love of teaching, serving as a preschool teacher in New Jersey and then in Minneapolis.
In her new role at NCSY/JSU, Sabrina will run Juniors programming and lead several Jewish Student Union (JSU) clubs on public and private school campuses. She will also assist NCSY/JSU Director Mindy Daitchman in running social and holiday events, as well as educational events like Latte & Learns.
“I’m excited to build strong connections with teens and preteens in our city,” says Sabrina, “and empower them to connect to their Judaism through NCSY/JSU in fun, unique and meaningful ways.”
