Shira Brudoley has been named the new director of Kansas NCSY/JSU.
Shira, a Minneapolis native, is a former NCSYer. She joined NCSY in 6th grade and participated in NCSY events throughout high school. She also spent a summer in Israel on NCSY’s Give program.
After high school, Shira studied in Israel at Shalavim for Women. She then attended Stern College for Women as well as University of Minnesota, and she holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology.
“I’m really excited for this opportunity,” Shira says. “I’m looking forward to being a part of a welcoming and lively community, while connecting to others through a shared passion for Judaism.”
Shira’s husband, Ariel Brudoley, is a Kansas City native and former NCSYer. They have two children – Simcha, 3, and Tova, 1.
Shira replaces Interim Director Maddi Fidler, who has stepped down from her position to make aliyah.
