OUR REGION
A Welcoming Home in the Midwest
NCSY is the most effective and respected educational Jewish Youth movement in the world.
OUR HISTORY
Who We Are
NCSY is a multi-faceted Jewish Youth group which is open to all Jewish youth regardless of background and affiliation. Offering social and educational programming in hundreds of communities across the U.S. and Canada, NCSY is a leader in bringing unaffiliated youth an awareness of what Judaism is all about. For Jewish teenagers, NCSY is a relaxed, fun environment to learn about their own heritage.
NCSY’s programming really begins on the chapter level. Midwest NCSY includes thirteen chapters in seven US states and one Canadian province. Under the leadership of Shosh Friedman, Regional Director, we have earned an outstanding reputation among NCSY’s regions as a trailblazer in unique and innovative programming that appeals to today’s Jewish teen. If you live in the Midwest, there is probably a chapter near you.
Whether it is a latte and learning, a regional convention weekend, or just a chance to hang out with friends, chances are Midwest NCSY has an event that you are going to LOVE!
We don’t just build programs.
We build Jewish leaders
OUR MISSION
What We Do
Midwest NCSY is dedicated to connecting, inspiring, and empowering Jewish teens, encouraging a passionate appreciation for Judaism through Torah and Tradition. We believe that every Jewish teen, regardless of their background or level of observance, deserves a place where they feel they belong. Our programs are designed to spark curiosity, foster leadership, and build lasting friendships.
From our legendary regional conventions to our intimate chapter latte-and-learns, we provide the tools for the next generation to take ownership of their Jewish journey.
