Though Oct. 7th was more than five months ago, at Jewish Student Union (JSU), it’s far from old news.
If anything, we’ve “amped up” our response, doubling our efforts to make sure our teens feel safe in their public schools and have new and expanded opportunities to connect Jewishly and build Jewish community.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Minneapolis Jewish Federation’s Fund for Local Needs, we now have the funds to not only open additional JSU clubs, but also expand our off-campus JSU offerings.
We’re finding that more Jewish teens than ever are looking for Jewish connection – and that there’s no better way to fight antisemitism than by strengthening the next generation of Jewish leaders and making them prouder than ever to be Jewish.
Our new JSU off-campus programs are connecting more Jewish teens, more deeply than before, to their Judaism – and to each other.
P.S. – Mark your calendar! Our MN End-of-Year Event, honoring our JSU teens leaders, will be held on Sunday, May 19. Stay tuned for details…
