TJJ, (The Jerusalem Journey), NCSY’s summer trip to Israel for Jewish public school teens, is back this summer after a one-year hiatus due to the war in Israel.
Twenty-seven teens from across the Midwest will be traveling to Israel on the Harvey L. Miller Supporting Foundation Midwest TJJ Bus this July.
“There’s nothing that can replace a summer in Israel,” says North Shore Director Rabbi Jeremy Schaechter, who leads the bus. “This trip is a transformative experience that will help our teens deepen their connection to the Land of Israel, its people, and their Jewish heritage. We can’t wait to go back!”
This year, for the first time, five Israeli teens will also join the bus, giving teens from both countries the chance to bond over a shared experience in the holiest place on earth.
Midwest NCSY expresses its gratitude to the Harvey L. Miller Supporting Foundation for once again providing scholarships to make this once-in-lifetime experience accessible to all teens.
