Refund & Cancellation Policy
To ensure fairness and clarity for all participants and planners, the following refund/cancellation policy applies for the Shabbaton/event:
- Full Refund if cancellation is received before the application deadline (approx. 10 days before the event)
- 50% Refund + 50% Credit Towards Next Event if cancellation occurs between the deadline and the Sunday before the event start.
- No Refund, but 50% Credit Towards Next Event, if cancellation is during the week of the event.
- No Refund or Credit if there is no notification of cancellation.
How to Cancel
A participant (or their parent/guardian) must notify the regional office directly (via the NCSY account or by phone/email). Notification via a chapter adviser, local Rabbi, or other indirect route is insufficient and will not qualify for refund/credit.
Processing
Refunds will be issued via the same method as the original payment. Alternatively, credit may be issued to the participant (or family member) to be used immediately or for a future event. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the event close.
