Hi, everyone!

Today was so much fun! First, we all met at O’Hare Airport at 5:30 a.m. where we ate donuts and hot chocolate. After a smooth flight, we landed at LAX! We headed to Griffith Park for some pizza and “ice breakers!” I learned so many cool things about everyone.

Next, we headed to Sony studios for an amazing tour! We got to visit sets of shows like The Goldbergs, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune,  and learn all about how movies and TV shows are made!

We then headed to dinner/rotations. Some people started by packing meals for Jewish families, while the other group ate dinner at Burger Bar LA. It was delicious! Then we switched. The people who ate dinner went to the grocery store to buy food for Shabbat, while the other group got dinner.

After an amazing day, we headed to the hotel. Our first day was so fun and I can’t wait for the rest of the trip!
